The people behind
Legacy First Law.
A focused team of attorneys and legal professionals committed to direct, accountable service. Every client gets experienced counsel and a team that actually knows their matter.
Attorney and Founder
Garrison English, Esq., MBA
Garrison English is the attorney and founder of Legacy First Law. He built the firm around a single conviction: that clients deserve focused expertise, clear communication, and pricing they understand before committing to anything.
Garrison holds a Juris Doctor from the University of Mississippi School of Law and an MBA that preceded his legal career. That combination, legal training layered on top of business education, gives him a perspective most attorneys simply do not have. He understands not just the legal mechanics of a transaction or estate plan, but the financial, operational, and strategic implications that come with every decision.
Before founding Legacy First Law, Garrison saw firsthand how large firms treat legal work as a volume business, creating gaps in accountability and communication that leave clients feeling underserved. He started this firm to do it differently: focused expertise, clear pricing, and a team that stays accountable to your goals throughout the process.
His practice focuses on estate planning and business law. That focus is intentional. Deep expertise in a defined practice area produces better outcomes than broad coverage spread thin. Garrison knows these areas inside and out, and he brings that depth to every client matter.
The first 15-minute consultation is always free. Every matter beyond that is structured around a flat fee for out-of-court work, agreed upon in writing before any work begins. No surprise invoices. No billing ambiguity.

What Legacy First Law
stands for.
Legacy First Law was built to do things differently. Not by being everything to everyone, but by being exceptionally good at the things we focus on. Estate planning and business law handled by a team that is experienced, efficient, and clear with every client.
We believe clients deserve attorneys who communicate clearly, move efficiently, and explain every decision along the way. Not a firm that hides behind process. One that takes the time to make sure you understand your plan, your options, and your rights.
The name Legacy First is a statement of values. Every plan we build is designed to protect what you have built and pass it forward. That is the goal. Everything else follows from it.
Accountability at Every Step
When an attorney's name is on every piece of work that leaves this firm, there is no place for mediocrity to hide.
Deep Expertise, Not Surface Coverage
Each attorney at Legacy First Law goes deep in their practice area. That specialization produces better outcomes than broad coverage spread thin.
